General Private Lessons are an ideal learning medium for new or experienced firearm owners who are interested in becoming more familiar with their handgun or rifle. Our certified instructors will oversee your development, which can genuinely shorten the learning curve often associated with grasping key concepts during standard group classes.
By enrolling in a private gun and shooting lesson at Range USA, you'll learn under our firearm experts' close supervision. Our primary goal during this two-hour firearm and shooting lesson is to help students better understand basic firearm fundamentals, increase their firearm confidence, and create more responsible firearm owners.
*Class Objective: To provide new and experienced students with two hours of quality customized firearm instruction, reinforcing key fundamentals on and off the range.
*Firearms: Recommended but Not Required - For the best learning experience, instructors recommend that students bring their personal firearms (Free Rentals are available).
*Ammunition: 50 rounds of ammunition are recommended when shooting is part of the private lesson. (No outside ammunition may be used in Range USA’s free rentals.
*Required: For Indoor Range use, students must wear appropriate range clothing. No shorts or open-toed shoes. Eye/Ear Protection (rentals available) are required.
*Cost: $125.00 (lesson includes training for either 1 or 2 individuals. Please consider bringing a guest).
*Length: 2 Hours of Customized, In-person Private Firearm Instruction.
Reschedule/Cancelation Policy: Customer will be permitted ONE lesson reschedule if the reschedule is made at least 2 days before the ORIGINAL lesson date on the order. Additional rescheduling will not be permitted and will result in the forfeiture of the cost of the lesson. Cancelation must be made at least 2 days prior to the ORIGINAL lesson date on the order. Students who fail to reschedule or cancel within 2 days of the ORIGINAL lesson date on the order will not be eligible for a refund. In the event Range USA reschedules a lesson, Range USA will work with you to find an agreed upon future lesson date and the policy above will apply to any future cancelation or rescheduling. In the event Range USA cancels a lesson, Range USA will refund the cost of the lesson.
Sean Zuber at the Evansville location was very informative. He didn’t make me feel stupid for asking any kind of question. He made it very fun and I didn’t feel like I was being pressured at any point. It Was a very calm session and he walked me through the entire process, and I am more confident on the range and I’ll probably take more classes to get an even better understanding. 10/10 would recommend
I took a private lesson with Joseph Van Donk at the North Richland Hills location and he was wonderful. I hadn't shot anything for at least 20 years, so I wanted to brush up and get myself where I needed and want to be. He was very helpful and gave me some great tips on where I needed the most help. He went above and beyond what I expect of this private lesson. Anyone that needs some extra help he is great at it.
I took a private lesson course with Raniero A., and it was very informative being that I'm a first time handgun owner. Raniero emphasized safety and walked me through the steps needed to be a responsible gun owner. He gave positive reinforcement on the range portion of class and took the time needed to explain safety, rules of the range, and the proper handling of a handgun. He was very thorough and knowledgeable, and I would definitely recommend this class and instructor Raniero!
I am a novice and needed some retraining to start becoming more capable with a handgun. Mario L. was very thorough in a short amount of time, guided us through hands-on training and was very supportive on the range. I recommend him to everyone. Get a private lesson and bring a guest - great value!
