Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 2.0 380 ACP 2.75in Barrel 10/12+1 Thumb Safety

The bodyguard 2.0 is a great EDC, easy to conceal, a good shooter, light weight and with Underwood Defense ammo it is a good defense weapon. I found mine shot to the left, however using a small drift punch, and tapped it left to zero it.

It is very dependable and easy to shoot, I haven't found any ammo it does not like. 

It is fun gun to have, and performs surprisingly well for a gun at this price point. At this price you are getting a great deal. I highly recommend it, go rent one and try it out, it won't disappoint.

Nice gun. Lightweight but packs a punch. I love to shoot it. I think it’s a great gun especially for women to carry. Only thing I would change is the difficulty in loading the clips. I spent more time on trying to load it than shooting. I’m told it gets easier. 😆 I hope so.

Small and compact, yet comfortable grip even in my fat hands. 10rd mag is nice but the 12rd mag gives a little extra for my pinky finger to wrap around. If you can comfortably hold and fire a Glock 19 you will likely have little to no problem with this pocket pistol. 150 rounds have fired through the barrel, not one jam yet.

I have three minor issues with the gun. First off, every little button is very rough textured for increased grip - EXCEPT THE SIDE STOP. Why not??? The thumb safety, the mag release, even the takedown lever all have extra texture, so why not the slide stop? I can barely feel the button at all and when I need to lock the slide back it is hard to tell if it's actually locked without flipping the gun and looking at the side of it. I'm sure there is a solution but I'm still pondering/searching.

Second, I love the night sight on the front sight. Even with the lights off in the middle of the night, I can take this gun out of a case and still see a glowing green dot. Unfortunately, the rear sights have no such dots so that front dot would do little good in pitch dark without having that reference point on the rear. I have found aftermarket rear sight replacements that do have the night sights, but they're expensive and I haven't bought them yet. 

Third, and probably least problematic, all of the springs are extremely stiff out of the box. Loading mags to max capacity was near impossible by hand, and the slide was so stiff I thought I was going to hate this gun. But I've sent 150 rounds down the range and everything loosened up just enough to be comfortable.

tl;dr it's a great little gun, and even with my minor problems I still think give it 5 stars. Also I got mine in purple because the purple ones are 10% more accurate. A Marine told me that so it must need true, no need to look it up or research it at all.

There are trade offs with small handguns, but S&W did some impressive design work with this one.  The magazines are stiff when trying to load, at least when new, but that's my only minor complaint.  The slide is also a little stiff with the double springs on the guide rod, but I'll take the light recoil that comes with that design.  Everything worked as intended during my first trip to the range.  Same controls and easy take down as the Shield Plus and M&P 2.0, just on a smaller scale.

I did a lot of research before purchasing this fire arm and I must say, I am HAPPY I did. It is a very nice fire arm. Hitting the target right out of the box. Love the 12 count magazine which is perfect for your index finger. I spoke with an employee at a totally different gun store and he told me that he and a few other employees carry the Bodyguard 2.0. Buy it, it won't regret it. I have never had a hiccup, a jam or anything!
