Built on a large-frame billet aluminum receiver set with Honey Badger-inspired controls, the Boombox weighs just 5 pounds 8 ounces while delivering big-bore performance in a remarkably compact package. The direct impingement operating system features Q's proprietary bolt carrier and buffer system with a large-diameter spring, eliminating the guide rod for simplified maintenance and field serviceability. The rifle comes equipped with Q's XL Cherry Bomb muzzle device with M18x1.5 tapered shoulder threads, optimized for Q suppressors like the Trash Panda or Thunder Chicken. The Q-Sert aluminum handguard with continuous top Picatinny rail provides rock-solid mounting for optics and accessories, while the two-position collapsible stock and Reptilia CQG-NB grip ensure comfortable handling.
