Will this take AR-15 magazines ?

The Mini-14 series of rifle does not accept AR-15 magazines and uses proprietary Mini-14 magazines.

I have had Several of these through the years!👍😎
I have Enjoyed Several of these Fine Rifles through the past 30+ years! What a Fabulous Rifle! The only thing is that it was rather difficult to find High-Capacity Magazines that would function Properly in this weapon! Most were very difficult to remove from this otherwise Fabulous Weapon! I am sorry, but I no longer remember whose magazines worked well in the Gen 1 otherwise Fabulous Weapon, besides the Wonderful Rugar Original Magazines which Rugar now also manufactures in High Capacity from 10 to 30 round options!😎 Note the new Gen 2 mags., now available, I have not had the pleasure to test!👍😎
