S&W M&P9 SHIELD PLUS OPTICS READY NIGHT SGT 2-10 RD MAGS

I purchased the gun December 4, 2023 .to take ccl class and the week before my class I took to the local range to practice,finished about 50 rounds.returned home to clean it took it apart and found a crack in the frame from trigger to the button that releases the clip.yes I could see all the way through it was really cracked. Than called smith Wesson sent it back and it’s been about 2 weeks so far.the worse part about it is I love the gun and disappointed that it’s broke.the reason why I love it I have a small hand and it fits great and easy to shoot and grip.

I hate to do this, but I feel like I must. I bought this and took it home and didn't get a chance to mess with it until 2 days later. The right rear night sight does not glow. The feed ramp had a massive gouge or casting flaw that was basically just polished over, and the takedown lever took considerable effort, and I mean like with tools, to swivel in order to take the slide off. I love Smith & Wesson I have an original M&P shield (apex trigger and sear kit), I have a 2.0 compact 3.6". Love them both. Thousands of rounds through each without a hiccup. Very disappointed that I had to take this back to the store two days after I bought it. The store associate said normally it's my responsibility to send it back to Smith and Wesson but since I only had it for 2 days that they would do that. So I gave it to them and it's been about 2 weeks now and I haven't even gotten contacted by Smith & Wesson yet. I have no qualms with range USA, nor do I have any with Smith & Wesson. I'm sure these things happen. I'm just hoping that they can rectify all three problems quickly and then I can put some rounds through this and give you guys an updated review. But for now I have to keep it at one star.
