Important: (430 ILCS 66/70) Sec. 70. (c) A license is invalid upon expiration of the license, unless the licensee has submitted an application to renew the license, and the applicant is otherwise eligible to possess a license under the Firearm Concealed Carry Act. The Illinois Renewal course is required to renewal your current (not expired) Concealed Carry license. This course is 3.5 hours long and includes classroom and range time.
**Please make sure the Renewal course is taken before the CCL expiration date. This course may be taken before the expiration date is reached. Students can submit their online application to the Illinois State Police up to 6 months prior to the expiration date. Students with an expired Concealed Carry License are no longer eligible for renewal and must re-take the full 16/8-hour Concealed Carry Course.
In this Renewal class, students will learn updates to Illinois law review of force and Illinois criminal statutes, receive a refresher and updates of prohibited areas and law enforcement interactions, take part in a live-fire qualification.
Materials Needed:
- Minimum of 150 rounds of ammunition.
- Unloaded and CASED firearm – bring your own or use one of our rentals. PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR FIREARM OR AMMUNITION INTO THE CLASSROOM. NO FIREARMS IN THE CLASSROOMS.
- Eye and ear protection – bring your own or purchase in-store.
- Qualification Targets

- Classes are limited to the first 10 students. A minimum of 5 students is required for a class to be held.
- ALL STUDENTS MUST HAVE VALID FOID CCL CARD IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN CLASS. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN TO STUDENTS WHO DO NOT HAVE A FOID CCL CARD.
- All Range Rules apply.
Reschedule/Cancelation Policy: Customer will be permitted ONE class reschedule if the reschedule is made at least 2 days before the ORIGINAL class date on the order. Additional rescheduling will not be permitted and will result in the forfeiture of the cost of the class. Cancelation must be made at least 2 days prior to the ORIGINAL class date on the order. Students who fail to reschedule or cancel within 2 days of the ORIGINAL class date on the order will not be eligible for a refund. In the event Range USA cancels a lesson, Range USA will work with you to find an agreed upon future class date and the policy above will apply to any future cancelation or rescheduling.

"My husband and I both enjoyed the renewal class. Excellent information was provided relevant to staying updated on State concealed carry laws and federal information as well. It was most refreshing to have a woman present this information, and we look forward to availing ourselves of other classes, that Tami and/or her husband present, as we have enjoyed class with each of them on separate occasions. "Nick T. did a great job of presenting the material in spite of constant interruptions by one of the students who was determined to make the class all about her. We heard just about her entire life story which included such details as the appelate judge who lives next door, the police lieutenant who lives around the corner, the antique cars in her garage, etc, etc, etc. Nick was somehow able to keep his patience and keep the class moving forward. Well done."
