Absolutely love this gun. Shoots very accurate and never once had a malfunction over 2500 rds now and clean every 500rds ... I can't say enough good things about it the price is amazing. The only thing that kinda stinks is that you have to purchase plates for different optics ... Besides that you can not beat this gun for the price. The trigger is ok it's not as good as the old version so I swapped them along with the grip module to my likes ... If you are looking for a first gun or a carry to trust your life with this can be that gun ... It's a tank and can't be stopped it will eat anything.. I'm really upset with the other post I seen on here. I never heard of a Beretta apx having issues.. something is seriously wrong with that gun and pray 🙏 it gets resolved.. Beretta has been building quality guns for over 500 years now. God bless 🙏

I bought from RangeUSA in Mentor Ohio in early 2024. When firing my FIRST MAGAZINE of factory 124g ammo, the gun suddenly blew out, leaving powder burns on my hand, parts and pieces falling out onto the table, and a huge crack in the poly frame from the top of the lower almost all the way to the trigger guard. It took 4 months to finally get the replacement from Beretta. That's the downside. Doesn't sound good for this firearm, but ultimately, and after TONS of testing with my other 9mms, I believe it was an ammo issue, not the gun itself. That said, I would like to believe a well-made gun can handle any ammunition (at least any FACTORY ammo), but that might be a bit too much to ask, as this is a poly-framed firearm after all. That's the negative.
I will say, I haven't had a single issue with the replacement firearm. It cycles perfectly, all ammo (I've tested 6 different varieties/weights -- subs and supers). It cycles, dry- and hot-fires beautifully, suppressed and un-suppressed. Additionally, this is one of the most comfortable grips of all poly-framed guns I own. The stippling is aggressive but not aggravating. The weight between a full metal slide assembly and a full extended mag is thoughtfully balanced. The firearm field-strips without tools, though you'll need to mag itself to assist.
I didn't appreciate having to purchase a proprietary optics plate from Beretta. But that said, it was 45 bucks, so it was decently competitive with other generic plates, and it came quickly from Beretta. I mounted a Holosun 407C optic, made my own Holstex OTW Range holster, and this gun is looking and shooting sweet! Even though this APX journey started with a blown out frame, I would still buy again.
Purchased from RangeUSA on 3/18/24. Picked-up 3/20/24 just before the store closed. Examined, appeared to be lightly oiled from the factory, similar to what any of my other guns look like after typical cleaning - so no disassembly. Back to RangeUSA the next morning to try it the first time. First round down range, and misfeed the next round. Clear it by racking the slide, and another misdeeds. Several more misfeeds and failures to clear, I try the other magazines included in the case - no change in performance. By this time, I've drawn the attention of the range safety - who offers to try it after asking me about my grip. He gets the same results - failure to cycle. So he calls the range armored to look at it - who fires it with same failures. He asks if I've cleaned it - which I had not. Takes it back for cleaning (with my approval), and returns to the range lane to try it again - same result. Ultimately, 3 different experienced shooters, multiple ammunition brands and weights (124 & 115gr), multiple mags - mixture of failure to eject and failure to feed. Filed for warranty claim, received shipping label, shipped to US repair center (TN). Estimated 4 weeks.
