Product Details

The VP Series integrates a striker firing system with an enhanced, HK "light pull" trigger. HK's cold hammer-forged barrel made from cannon grade steel ensures long service life, as does the polygonal bore profile which also provides a slight increase in muzzle velocity. An extended Picatinny MIL-STD-1913 rail molded into its polymer frame for mounting lights and accessories. All controls are completely ambidextrous. A unique VP feature is HK's patented rear-mounted charging supports on each side of the slide provide better gripping leverage for racking the slide rearward. The machined steel slide is protected from corrosion and wear by HK's hostile environment finish and all metal components, including springs and pins have superior metallurgy. VP pistols use proven HK P30 steel magazines. Includes three magazines, two additional backstraps and two additional sets of lateral grip plates.

HK VP9

This is my second European fire arm, my first being a Walther. This firearm shoots amazing and is pretty accurate right out the box. I’ve put about 250 rounds through it and not a hiccup. It does take some getting used to with the magazine release but I’ve learned to love it. The grip is amazing when compared to my other pistols as it conforms to my hands. My one small gripe is that although this is a “tactical” firearm, there isn’t a direct mount for red dot which means that if one wants to mount a red dot, you’d have to have the slide milled. Other than that, I love how the gun shoots and look forward to shooting suppressed.
