Product Details

The VP Series is well-suited for civilian sport shooting, security, military and law enforcement use. The VP Series integrates a striker firing system with an enhanced, HK "light pull" trigger. HK's cold hammer-forged barrel made from cannon grade steel with a polygonal bore profile, molded finger grooves, an extended Picatinny MIL-STD-1913 rail molded into its polymer frame for mounting lights and accessories. Slide releases are present on both sides of the frame and the paddle style magazine release can be easily activated by left- or right-handed shooters. VP pistols use proven HK P30 steel magazines. Includes two magazines, two additional backstraps and two additional sets of lateral grip plates.

VERY NICE HANDGUN

All in all I've been known to love my GLOCKs. That being said I've always loved H&K as well. I was a USP fanboy for sure. I've owned a USP .45acp and a P30 in the past. But I was hesitant to pick up the VP9. Well I went ahead and pulled the trigger on one and I must say I'm very happy with this pistol. For a polymer handgun, the trigger is great. I shoot very well with it and the reliability has been flawless so far. Plus it's a great looking gun as well. Once I found out that H&K upped the mag capacity to 17rnds? This was a no brainer for me. Now that I have one? I highly recommend this pistol to anyone who is looking for something that's not a GLOCK. I still love my GLOCK 19. I do. I would definitely say that the VP is a nicer polymer for sure though. And again, I'm really happy with this gun.
