After purchasing a Beretta 92GTS in May 2025, it has been part of a great experience with practicing with it on the range and performing basic gunsmithing on it. It was of a perfect condition at the time of purchase and has continued to be in great shape. The only anomaly with it thus far was that one of its parts temporarily became extra difficult on one occasion to put back together properly after that instance of field stripping, cleaning, and lubricating, yet, even then, after a while with several extra efforts that part returned to normal and was able to successfully become put back together again. Each of the other times that I have performed basic gunsmithing on that Beretta up to now, basic disassembly and basic reassembly went smoothly. Also, when taking an intermediate class in June 2025, near the end of that class the instructor spoke highly of how he believed that the firearm enhanced the capability that I demonstrated during some parts of the range practice of several alternative methods. Great gun!

I was really looking forward to this gun. Unfortunately, I had a trigger bar issue out of the box where the trigger was was not engaging in DA randomly. I sent it back to Beretta after only 5 days of having it. They fixed it and said the trigger bar was out of spec. After I got it back, I noticed there was damage on the gun from them. Looks like their gunsmith crushed my front site, scratch the barrel, scratch the front left serration and somehow installed two different color decocker levers. One of the levers was brand new and shiny. The other one was a dark gray, used scratched up one.
Now it is back at Beretta getting fixed again. You would think they would move it to the front line considering they caused the damage, Nope!! Now after 7 weeks of owning this gun, I've only had in my possession for three weeks, and I'm still waiting for it to come back.
After it was fixed, it worked perfectly. I guess the bad rating is more towards Beretta's customer service and craftsmanship of their gun smiths.
