Only negative without shooting it, and upon safe routine practice making myself familiar with the firearm, is the magazine has a “bug” to it. Which is what causes most of the issues with shooting this bad boy. If hi point would view some of the videos out there on YouTube of reviewing this gun etc. it’s the same issues people have, and I found one guy who figured a way to fix it by doing some shenanigans with the magazine. But overall I did originally plan to use this as an everyday carry self defense firearm but since it is pretty bulky I know most guns are, I may keep it handy for home self defense firearm. I plan to come in and get the Taurus G2C. I’ve heard good things about that one, plus description says it’s perfect for everyday carry. Overall cheap and would definitely recommend if you can’t afford something much higher, and it is what it is. 8/10 without shooting it. 👌

3rd gun I've bought from highpoint I've only had great service from this company ad appreciated them being made in the USA ad not costing a fortune so a working man can afford, but it's not for gun snobs.

Terrible weapon for self defense. If you want your gun to jam while defending yourself than this is for you. If you want to almost d!e While trying to protect yourself, this gun is for you.
