Springfield 45acp XdM
Very similar in size and feel to the others in this line. Sights could be better which is typical these days at this price point. It is pretty accurate though out to about 25yds without a whole lot of practice. It is very much basically what you would expect from a polymer gun. Lightweight, pretty smooth action, no feeding issues so far after 300 rounds. If you are expecting the feel of 1911 don't, totally different feel to it. The recoil you would probably expect to be more severe than what it does. It doesn't have a big heavy frame or action like a 1911 so the recoil is different. Fair amount of muzzle rise but you can snap off repeat shots pretty quick. Trigger feel and travel is ok, not great but ok. It doesn't take long to get used to it. Value for your money, Oh I don't know, lot of competition and the 1911's in comparison are attractive. I have both.
