Smith & Wesson Shield Plus 9mm 3.1in Barrel 10+1(1)/15+1(2) with Zippered Notebook Case and Crimson Trace CTS-1500 Red Dot Sight Thumb Safety

I don't usually write a review on my firearms, but I recently purchased a Smith & Wesson Shield Plus 9mm 3.1in Barrel pistol which included an installed Crimson Trace Red Dot sight. To cut to the chase, it's a smaller, lightweight polymer sub-compact that shoots remarkably flat and straight. The adjustable sights, and textured grips, and overall ergonomics were impressive, so too was how thin this double stack pistol is. I own numerous pistols on the higher end of both quality and price, and while this particular pistol is definitely a lower cost alternative, after shooting nearly 500 rounds through it in a two week period, I can honestly say it simply impressed me. I experienced zero malfunctions, and it consistently fed both target and defensive rounds from multiple manufacturers. Oddly enough, there was almost no real change in the point of impact when I shot unsupported at 30 feet. I would recommend this as a pistol that you should especially be considered for CCW purposes.
