Yes! Its a great gun! I bought it in spite of the many feeding problems that were described by on line reviewers. out of the box at the range, 50 rounds of CCI MiniMags scored 6 jammed rounds with deep dents in the cases. At home, I cleaned and dry lubed the mags and polished the feed ramp and slide guides. The next day the weapon ran 90 rounds flawlesly with sub one inch groups at 15 feet! Very happy indeed!

Let me start by saying, I have both. I was so impressed with the TX-22, even though I received one with a bad barrel. I knew I had to have the competition version. This is the one to get. First thing you'll notice is the beefy bull barrel. It dwarfs the regular barrel. The added weight, steel guide rod, and light reciprocating slide, Taurus knocked it out the park with this one.

This is possibly the worst firearm I have ever owned. Purchased new and never ran a full magazine without jamming every third shot or so. Tried all the normal fixes. Polished ramp feed ,magazines slide etc etc. Read reviews of other buyers that said send it to Taurus and have it repaired and most did the same thing when returned.. Needless to say Taurus will no longer be in my gun collection. Traded within three weeks.
