YHM's S.L.R. (Slim, Light, Rail) Slant series handguards were designed to address the two main customer requests. The number one request was a thinner handguard, so the SLR series is YHM's slimmest line of handguards. The second most common request was to create one continuous Picatinny rail between the upper receiver and the handguard. The front of the S.L.R. Slants are quad rails, with KeyMod mounting points at the 3,6, 9 o'clock positions. The SLR Slant comes with all necessary tools for installation, including: barrel nut, barrel nut wrench, four (4) screws (7/64ths Allen head), 7/64ths allen wrench. It is hardcoat anodized matte black to military specifications or better.
This Specter Length model offers 9.5" of continuous top rail, and 10.15" overall (length of the bottom) with 2.75" rails at 3 and 9 o'clock, and a 3.25" rail at 6 o'clock (muzzle end of handguard).
