Swapping your bolt carrier group with a CMMG Conversion Bolt Group takes only seconds to install and is piston compatible. This .22 Conversion Kit operates on direct blowback, and do not utilize the impingement tube for function. The Bravo Conversion Bolt Group base model is stainless steel and generally easier to clean. This is the most affordable Stainless Steel CMMG conversion kit. It includes the stainless steel conversion bolt group and a 25-round magazine.

AR 15 Conversion from .223/.556 to .22LR Bolt

I purchased the AR 15 conversion bolt from .223/.556 to .22LR. The change out of the bolt took less than a minute and it was not difficult to do. My AR 15 was sighted in at 25 yards for .223/.556 with a scope. The .22 shoots a little different than the .223/.556 and I needed to make minor adjustments. After adjustments to scope, I was able to put 17 out of 20 rounds into a target the size of a quarter at 25 yards.

The .22 bolt conversion is an amazing product. I talked to the store manager and asked that he stock this product and the special magazines in the store!!!
