Glock 23 Gen 3 40 S&W 4.02in Barrel 10+1(2)

I thought I'd provide a little first hand into the G23 in case any first time gun buyers have it in their wish list. So anyone who's looked at all into a .40 handgun will hear or see that it's the best of both the 9mm and .45 acp.  I cannot attest to this enough. While the G23 is considered a compact gun, you wouldn't know it after firing it! The recoil is a little above average but as with all Glocks, there is a large aftermarket presence to mitigate such things! Personally, the first 2 stock pieces I will change on all Glocks will be the front and rear sites into a night sight of some sort and the polymer guide rod into either a stainless steel option or tungsten.  There are so many more options for just about any part on a Glock.  It's definitely first timer friendly! Very reliable, easy to hold with average hand size. The list goes on and on, point being! You can't go wrong here
