Overall Amazed at the quality of the Colt M4 5.56 rifle for the price as well as the awesome level of service received at Range USA on this purchase. Very attentive, polite, helpful, and professional team at the Centerville location. Very accurate right out of the box with the iron sights without any adjustments, although if needed is very easy to do. Comes with a M2 magazine, although I was able to easily purchase additional M3 magazines in stock for a reasonable price. Amazingly light weight with easily adjustable stock length for comfort positioning. I'm excited to add my furniture and accessories in the coming months.

This was a purchase that I do not regret. A little more expensive than other "base" AR's, but the fit and finish are really nice. We know that CZ bought the company, but CZ makes super quality products.The Upper and Lower have a really great tolerance. comes with a Gen 2 Magpul mag, I think that the Gen 3 fits a little bit better. the A2 pistol grip is still weird. I was disappointed that the markings on the lower have changed, but I am still happy to see that Colt Pony on my receiver. the MBUS sights are fine, not the best, but better than nothing. Most importantly, this thing shoots well. ejection pattern is very consistent. I shot it right out of the box and had no fouls, hangups or cycling issues. I used a Surefeed Aluminum Mag and Magpul gen 2 and 3 they all fed well. Essentially this rifle runs great and the only things that need changing are cosmetic. I would recommend a grip change (Magpul MOE is nice and the B5 systems are totally sweet too) and a sling. cheap upgrades that will make a huge difference. you will most likely be happy with any "base" AR, but I am positive you would be excited every time you handle this Colt.
