Marlin's XT series is ideal for target practice and small game. These bolt-actions are reliable, accurate and fun to shoot. They have a thumb safety with a red cocking indicator, and Marlin's Pro-Fire Adjustable trigger allows the shooter to customize the trigger pull weight between 3 and 6 lbs. Micro-Groove rifling ensures pinpoint accuracy on the range or in the field. The receiver is grooved for scope mount and is drilled/tapped for scope bases. This 22TSR model has a black synthetic stock with palm swell, full pistol grip, molded-in swivel studs, and stippled grip areas. It features a stainless steel bolt action with a 22" stainless steel barrel, adjustable semi-buckhorn folding rear sight and ramp front sight with a high visability front sight post and cutaway wide-scan hood. Chambered in 22 Long Rifle, it will also shoot 22 Long or 22 Short, and has a tubular magazine.
