Lots of Fun!

The VR80 is a awesome shotgun, it is so much fun to shoot at the range. Very little recoil. I love it and the magazine options are awesome 9, 19 and 28 rounds not to mention the drum options. If you are looking for a great shotgun this is it.

Good all around shotgun, just make sure you break it in properly

Bought this to replace a pump action for home defense. Never have had to break in a shotgun like this which is why i give it 4/5 stores. I did not clean the vr80 of the box nor lube any parts (my fault) before shooting 1640 fps slugs with the light piston. 50-60 rds afterwards, I had to clean everything, including the built up carbon/junk in the gas cylinder, and order a new light load piston since the rds I used damaged the part. I then left the bolt back in open position for a few weeks to help with potential feeding issues, changed to the heavy load piston, and lubed the gun up before next range session. I had no feed issues, part breakage, and my shoulder held up well. I also was able to switch out the stock with aftermarket stock that fit a commercial tube, changed to a pistol grip and added a extended handguard to make the gun look like a AR.
