Rossi 923572013 R92 Carbine 357 Mag 10+1 20" Blued Hardwood Right Hand

Purshased a Rossi 357 lever action through Shoot Point Blank websight. Online ordering was straight forward and easy. Was given clear information when rifle shipped, and updated by Fed Ex tracking. Was notified promptly when rifle was at the store for pick up. Pick up was simple and staff helpfully. I did have an issue with the rifle after I left the store. I did not examine the rifle at the store. The Coronavirus protocol made it so handling guns if the store was minimal and I didn't want to pressure the staff by going over every inch of the rifle. The issues with the rifle were concerning enough that after consulting a compitant gunsmith, and Rossi, the rifle needed to returned to the Factory. 12 week min. Before Rossi would determine to fix or replace. I was not happy. I contacted Shoot Point Blank by email and let them know what I was experiencing after my purchase. I received a call from the district lead, Mr Clesi. He was very helpful and understanding. I was pleased that he took the time to call and address my issue. He offered an apology and wanted to know what he could do to help. Ultimately my problem was a result of Rossi and their quality control. My advise is to examine guns before you buy. The stores that sell guns don't make them. Sometimes things slip though. I got a gun that slipped though. Save yourself the headache, always check it out before you take it home. The staff at Shoot Point Blank has always been helpful and I enjoy the store very much. I am also pleased the way this situation was handled. Mr Clesi was helpful and professional, I believe he genuinely cares about my experience and satisfaction at his store, and will do whatever he can to prevent this from happening to other customer. I look forward to continuing to shop at Shoot Point Blank and feel good about their products and services, knowing that the people who work there really do care about their customers and do what they can to help. I am still happy I bought the rifle. I'm sure everything will get sorted out and I will get years of enjoyment out of the rifle. My issues with the rifle had to do with some machining issue that Rossi felt were best dealt with at their factory to insure the rifle was safe. Very loose action. Lever was scewed to right causing trigger to be exposed outside the trigger guard little over 1/16" on left side. Lever detent would not engage and hold lever secure in closed position. For safety Rossi wanted to look at it. Fit and finish were good. Blueing was very nice, stock fitting was done well. If it wasn't for the question of safety from machining, this would have been a 5 star review with only a few words to say how pleased I was. Thanks again to the employees at Shoot Point Blank, they made my experience better.
