The Ruger American Duty Pistol is a recoil-reducing powerhouse. With a recoil-reducing barrel cam, low-mass slide, low center of gravity and low bore axis, plus the functional slide serrations and textured grip, the shooter has more control. The American Pistol features a modular ergonomic wraparound grip, in medium and large palmswells, and gives the shooter the ability to customize the grip. The pre-tensioned striker system features a powerful striker spring for positive ignition without a heavier trigger pull. It has an ambidextrous slide stop and magazine release making it great for both right and left handed shooters, Novak LoMount carry three-dot sights, and Picatinny rail under the barrel for accessories. Safety features include internal automatic sear block system, trigger safety, external manual safety and inspection port. It includes two 10 round nickel-Teflon plated steel magazines.
