The Ruger PC Carbine Backpacker is a highly versatile and portable 9mm rifle built for performance, easy transport, and adaptability. Featuring Ruger's proven dead blow action, it utilizes a custom tungsten dead blow weight to reduce bolt travel, significantly cutting down on felt recoil and muzzle rise for smoother follow-up shots. The bolt itself is precision-machined from heat-treated chrome-moly steel, offering exceptional strength and long-term durability.

The standout feature of the PC Backpacker is its Magpul X-22 Backpacker-style stock, constructed from durable advanced polymer. This stock is purpose-built for utility and comfort, equipped with an ergonomic handguard and M-LOK slots at the 3 and 9 o’clock positions for mounting lights, grips, or other accessories. Interchangeable cheek risers are included, allowing shooters to tailor the setup for iron sights, optics, or red dots with ease.

An MOE SL rubber butt-pad provides a stable, anti-slip shoulder fit and increased impact resistance. It’s also compatible with the MOE SL Enhanced Rubber Butt-Pad, giving you an optional additional 3/8" length of pull. The quick takedown system uses a proprietary locking interface, allowing the barrel assembly to be easily detached from the receiver for compact storage or transport—ideal for backpack carry or travel.
