The Blast Shield for Strike Modular Chassis (SMC) - ALPHA (Hyper) was designed to protect your thumb from muzzle blast and heat with even longer Picatinny rail length over the Standard Version. The SMC Blast Shield redirects muzzle blast forward and upward away from the shooters face. For attaching even more variety of accessories, this Blast Shield adds more Picatinny rail length to allow the use of the SMC Spare Magazine Holder and a full size weapon light. Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum gives this metal good thermal conductivity and dissipates heat quicker than steel. Not only for the Strike Modular Chassis, this Blast Shield can fit most pistol frames with a max width of 21.20mm(0.84""). Lightweight and high-strength, the Blast Shield for Strike Modular Chassis (SMC) - ALPHA (Hyper) protects the shooter and adds even more room for accessories to customize your specific setup.
