Gift for pops

For the longest for whatever reason my dad would carry his firearm in his lunch box. So I figured this was a more conventional way to transport his firearm between the car and wherever else he is heading. He seems to love it and the security cord is a plus for storage in his truck.

Great for car and travel

Because of the nature of my work and various government facilities I work at, having a simple little safe to secure my firearm is assuring that it is safe from theft. Securing this to a part of the frame of the vehicle makes it impossible for someone to easily steel. I ended up getting two, one for each car. I think they are a great value.

OK, but be careful if used in a car

These are decent, but not great. They are too easy to break into through the hinge assembly. A good pair of pliers, cutters, or vise grips can crush the hinge and pop out the hinge pin and open the safe. If you want to use this in your car to lock up your firearm or any other valuables, just be aware.
