The SnapSafe Lock Box provides secure storage for handguns and other valuables at home, on a nightstand, in the car, or when traveling. It is constructed of thick 16 gauge steel with an easy to operate steel key lock mechanism and protective foam interior. The Snap Safe Lock Box meets TSA airline and California DOJ approved guidelines for firearms storage. It comes with a heavy duty 1500 lb. rated steel cable that secures to any stationary object including a vehicle seat or heavy piece of furniture. Includes two keys that are keyed alike.

A very good storage solution

This helps with staging several handguns without adding too many keys to my already overloaded key ring. I went with the XX-Large since this fits what we need to store best. We have used the included cable for storage in our vehicle , since it is fairly low profile it fits discreetly under car seats.
I insist on a solution that has a manual key that can open the lock ( along with any other locking mechanism ). I once had problems with a different keypad combination lock box with a failed battery.
This works well for us.

Lock Box - Excellent Choice

I bought these for two reasons. One for under my bed, but locks, and one for my car for transport that could hide under my seat.

This works excellently for both. Each came with a set of keys. So since this is a 2 pack you get 4 keys that work in either unit. I put one on her key ring and one on mine. We have 2 in the house for quick access.

This is a cheaper option for now to getting a bio sensor lock box. It's also not to big that it can slide under a bed, or under a car seat.

Very happy. Price was also a bit cheaper than Amazon.
