Taurus 2856029SW 856 38 Spl + P 6rd 2" Stainless Steel Walnut Grip

I think this might be the best model 856that you can buy. Really happy I went with the walnut grips over just the standard 856 grips. The box did come with the standard black Taurus 856 grip as well as the already installed walnut grips. The walnut grips are slightly longer than the originals and allow a good pinky rest. Trigger is actually pretty nice and smooth. I don’t mind the DA pull at all. It is a little heavy but you can get a spring kit if that is something that bothers you. The SA pull is also smooth and lighter than I thought it would be. Overall the trigger is nice and better than what I expected for a revolver at this price point. The only thing that I wish this revolver had was a slightly better front site, but that can be easily bought from a third party. If you’re looking to pick up this pistol, I would definitely do so. I don’t see it on Taurus‘s website anymore so it may be getting discontinued soon since the executive series also has walnut grips but is more expensive and 3 inch vs the snubby on this one.
