This gun is so fun to shoot. It's easy to add accessories. And 22lr is cheap ammo to shoot
Out the box pretty awesome rifle had a lot of fun at the range with it
Bought this at the store and took it to the range all at the same day.
Very high quality. Very lightweight. Has all the parts and pieces of an AR and feels exactly like one.
(Note: the bolt release and foward assist are purely aesthetic as the gun has what I assume to be some type of internal bolt catching mechanism)
Very accurate out of the box. It did surprisingly well with just the flip-up sights that it comes with and I didn't feel the need to purchase a reflex or red dot with it. (I was even hitting targets strangely higher at the longer ranges.)
Only caveats are that they did not have any extra magazines available at the store to buy. It did come with one magazine that had a built in speedloader but I wish I could have purchased some extra mags.
Also, the trigger is very slightly heavier than normal triggers, but it is so subtle enough that it doesn't really make that much of a significant difference.
If you're looking at getting the M&P 15-22 I would highly suggest getting the Hammerli instead. The build quality feels slightly better as it is full metal/aluminum vs the M&P which is mostly polymer.
Overall there is little to no recoil and compared to the other 22lrs I believe this is the best one to get someone who is new to shooting introduced to the AR platform or even just for the range/plinking.

I bought this gun on sale from Shoot Point Blank. Ordered it online - picked it up a few days later. Very easy process.
Took it to the range today. No malfunctions shooting Remington Thunderbolt and CCI Mini Mag. Gun is well made. All metal upper. Pretty accurate right out the box.
