I was looking for a new handgun that wife could shoot & was optic ready (She got her FOID last year).
I already have a Walther P22 but my wife didn't care for it, I saw this Walther WPM online & did some research.
There were mixed reviews but I purchased it anyway.
I received it, this is a full size handgun.
It has 4 ambidextrous mag releases, 2 button on either size & 2 paddles on the trigger guard.
It comes with (2) 15 rd magazines, comes with various optic plates & screws.
The frame is polymer, slide is aluminum so its a light pistol. The grip is not as large as I thought it would be.
I don't have large hands but it does feel very comfortable for me & the wife.
Ammo is very dirty but expected for rimfire. Take down is simple to clean it.
I added a Cylee Wolf0 red dot, my wife loves it.
I was impressed with how well it performed, very little recoil but huge fireball & extremely loud.
I have now taken it to the range e few times & have about 450 round thru it.
Its shoots flawlessly with no ftf or fte issues
Walther website has list of ammo that work well & what not to use with this pistol.
I've shot CCi maxi mag 40 gr, Federal champion BYOB 50 gr & Fiocchi field dynamics 40 gr with no issues at all.
Its reasonably priced, fun, accurate & ammo is about cost of 9mm
Buy one, you wont be disappointed

My 1st 22WMR and it does not disappoint. Typical Walther high quality and ergonomics. I don't have large hands, but this one fits ME much better than the Keltec or S&W offerings in this caliber. The Magnum .22 cartridge is literally a blast to shoot. The sound and fireball give the impression it's a .44 Magnum but with very little perceived recoil from this full-size pistol. I mounted a budget Cyelee CT2 red dot on it to make a joyous range plinker. I am100% satisfied with the purchase.
