Beretta 92GTS Centurion 9mm 4.25in Barrel 18+1(2) Optic Ready

I bought the pistol new and it would not fire--changed ammo, mags and even slides and the pistol would not ignite a bullet. I noticed no primer marks on the ammo and that the firing pin block on the top wasn't moving up when the trigger was pulled. I contacted their customer support and did not have to wait more than two minutes. The tech and I discussed the issues and decided we needed to send it in. He offered to help me with the process, but I was on the web page and in three minutes I was done with the process. They sent a case number and UPS sticker right away. I dropped it off on day one and received it back on day ten. They also sent emails saying they received the gun and also saying it was repaired and on the way backing with a tracking number. I was initially upset to buy a new gun and not have it work, but their process was painless and very well organized.

The gun itself is very nice--7 lb DA trigger and 3.5 lb SA trigger..smooth and good resets. The Centurion model just balances in my hand better than a full size. Accuracy and reliability are as good as any gun I've ever shot. I sand down the trigger guard on the right side where it meets the grip to eliminate the sharp 90 degree angle on the guard. It removes the coating but gives the gun a much better feel to me. I will replace the mainspring with a 13#, and add a metal rod.

It should have been a 5 star review, but I can't get over the disappointment of a new gun not working. Beretta did everything to make it right and I will still highly recommend them.
