The Kimber Custom LW Liberty is a full-size Government Model 1911 that trims serious weight without sacrificing any of the accuracy or reliability Kimber is known for. The lightweight machined-aluminum frame brings the total weight down to just 31.2 ounces — noticeably lighter on the hip than a comparable steel-frame 1911 — while the 5-inch match-grade stainless steel barrel and tight barrel bushing deliver the kind of precise lockup that makes the 1911 platform such an enduring choice for range work and carry alike. The KimPro Black finish runs across both the aluminum frame and stainless slide for a clean, uniform look that also holds up well against daily wear. Out of the box it carries a crisp 4–5 lb trigger pull, a full-length guide rod, and a beveled magwell that makes reloads fast and intuitive.

Kimber packed the Custom LW Liberty with features that used to be reserved for custom shop builds.
