The Smith & Wesson Model 327 Performance Center compresses magnum power into a compact, carry-ready revolver built for shooters who want serious performance in a small package. With a 2-inch barrel and an 8-round cylinder, this Model 327 delivers stout .357 Magnum capability (and the option to run .38 Special) while keeping overall size minimal for deep concealment or as a robust backup. The Performance Center treatment adds factory hand-tuning for a refined trigger pull and tighter lockup, giving the 327 exceptional shootability for a snub-nosed magnum.
Rugged and dependable, the Model 327 is ideal for users who want a short-barrel revolver that doesn’t compromise on power or capacity. It’s well suited for defensive use, carry when magnum performance is desired, or anyone who appreciates a finely tuned revolver straight from the factory.

I have wanted this revolver for a many years, and this was my first Performance Center item added to the collection. After finally being able to afford it, I hit the order button and could hardly wait! Unfortunately the fit and finish of a “Performance Center” firearm really leaves a lot to be desired. The cylinder had multiple burs that caught on ammo (bad enough it left gouges in cases you could easily feel), the gun itself looked “meh,” the checkering in the grip was of spotty quality and had huge gaps between it and the frame, and the trigger was super gritty. After a ton of time, effort, and work on my part including new grip panels it finally is resembling what I would have expected out of the box. I wouldn’t say I regret the purchase, but it was far from money well spent.
