Got one of these for my wife and I think I'm gonna buy a second one for myself. They fixed the problems of the original CSX and as a result this is a fine carry gun. Holds up to 17 rounds, or the 12 round magazine offers better concealability. The all metal frame adds a little heft, so to me, the recoil is a little softer than my shield plus.
I own plenty of pistols, and this is the one that I keep coming back to for concealed carry. It can hold 15 rounds, has a 3.6-inch barrel, smooth action, and is about the same size as a regular S&W Shield Plus. It is a little more money, but it is a full metal frame (less the interchangeable backstraps) and overall a better build. Do not pass up the chance to put one of these in your hands before making a decision. There is some noise on the internet about false trigger resets and such. It is noise. I do not have that issue, and most people will never experience it. The trigger is crisp and fully functional. If you are a competitive shooter? If so, buy a gun for that. This pistol is for everything else, in my opinion. Small, comfortable, and accurate. Cheers!
