My local RangeUSA had one of these sitting on the counter and I picked it up on a whim knowing very little about it. And boy am I glad I did. This has rapidly become my personal favorite firearm to shoot at the range and carry in my vehicle. I've run 1000+ rounds with 0 malfunctions and I'd absolutely agree this thing is a tack driver. The roller delay system is excellent and the comparisons to the MP5 are very appropriate. For defending my castle, I'll reach for this firearm every time.
I rented one of these to shoot this at a range USA and it was great. It had zero recoil and it's compact.
I picked up the Springfield Kuna at my local Range USA store last week. I read several articles on the Kuna and most were positive. After cleaning it and lubricating the new Kuna, I was off to Range USA to try it out. I mounted a Sig Sauer Romeo 5 optic. The Romeo 5 is reliable and fits my budget. I fired a little over 100 rounds and had 100 percent reliability. The kuna is very accurate, low recoil and fun to shoot. I say low recoil because I have two other nonroller delayed PCCs and the recoil on the nonroller delayed PCCs is definitely harsher. If I had any complaints about the Kuna, it would be the very stiff safety selector and proprietary magazines. In my opinion, the Springfield Kuna is worth its price. I would recommend it to a friend.
You won't be disappointed!
Amazing PDW firearm. Short of an MP5, this is what I was looking for and the price point is incredibly hard to beat. The mags are only $25 a piece (if you can find them) so stock up. This is a nice tack driver - getting great groups and extremely easy to shoot. Worth every penny.
