Great 45 as described! Have 500 rounds thru it no issues! Although I bought mine from palmetto state armory 100.00 cheaper. Would highly recommend buying it. Definitely shop around.

I purchased this pistol in June 2024 at the Merrillville IN Range USA and am extremely pleased with with my purchase. This 1911 is machined to exacting/tight tolerances, extremely accurate, and has a flawless fit and finish. Already put 500+ rounds thru it and it performed flawlessly. It's said to have an updated design from the original GI issued 1911 A1, one of which I own/inherited from WW1 Veteran, but I can't notice any significant difference other than the missing lanyard loop.. It has a steel hammer forged slide and frame and has a standard 1911 grip safety, just like the original. The pistol comes with two 8+ 1 magazines, trigger lock and take down tool in a plastic, well cushioned, lockable, and supposedly waterproof case. It's an excellent budget/entry level firearm for those who want to try out the 1911 platform that's a pleasure to shoot. Just remember its a "Mil Spec" no frills 1911, with a 4.5lb trigger pull, and the sights might be awkward at first till you get used to them.

It’s a very basic 1911, all black with no frills, but it gets the job done. I bought it today and went straight to the range. To my surprise, out of all my guns, this one is my favorite. Its simplicity and accuracy make it really cool and fun to shoot! for $389 plus taxes nothing more u can ask at this excellent price!

I purchased this pistol in April 2023 at Naperville Range USA, and am very pleased with it in every respect. It is tight, accurate, has a flawless finish and is faithful as an updated design to the venerable government 1911A1, one of which I own. The web descriptions of this model are somewhat confused. The model I purchased has a steel hammer forged slide and a full size steel hammer forged (not aluminum) frame. The pistol is provided with two 8+ 1 magazines, trigger lock and take down tool in a nice plastic lockable waterproof case. My model has a 'standard' 1911 grip safety and, due to the 8+1 magazine design, no lanyard loop. A fine practical piece, especially considering the price.
